Initial assessment is between 60-90 minutes and follow up sessions are between 45-60 minutes. It all depends on how the session is going and if your dog is comfortable being touched. Generally bigger dogs will take longer, compared to smaller dogs - because there is just more of them!
If your dog is known to be aggressive it is best for everyone's safety that they be muzzled to be able to attend the session. If your dog is not muzzle trained this might be best exploring first before attending clinical canine massage sessions. I'd be happy to recommend some local trainers who could help you with this.
Clinical canine massage can work very nicely alongside other therapies such as hydrotherapy or accupuncture. If you are concerned, please discuss with your vet prior to your appointment. Veterinary consent is a legal requirement before any treatments and they are able to highlight any concerns they may have.
Yes on further discussion we may be able to do some home visits outwith the West Lothian area. You may incur an additional travel cost.
